Tired Of The Old School Network Marketing Techniques? Find Out How to Attract Leads and Prospects to You!

Are you tired of the old school network marketing techniques? You know, hanging flyers, bugging your family and friends, and holding hotel meeting? When I first joined my first network marketing company, I was told to use these same techniques. Things I was told by my up-line didn’t make a lot of sense and I was only faced with questions I wasn’t able to answer, getting hung up on, and faced with nothing but rejection. I’ve build some serious reputation, during my successful corporate finance career, and running around the office or bothering friends and family about the best product ever….that they just had to have …just didn’t seam right. It wasn’t something I was looking for when I decided to start my own business. When I was officially shunned by everyone, when 32 out of 32 of my family and friends declined the invitation to my product presentation, I thought that’s it! I realized that the proven system I was repeatedly told about didn’t and doesn’t work! If I could only sponsor more reps, if I could only get more traffic for free to my site, if I could only find the right prospects… I’ve begun to invest in marketing books, researched the tools on internet…and you know what happened next? Yes you guessed it; I’ve got even more frustrated as I came across so many scammers out there just wanting my money without providing any true value. C’mon, I thought! How am I supposed to sort through all this? Again, I didn’t give up. I kept reading, investing in my education…and at last I’ve got a break! I came across attraction marketing free 7 day video boot camp series and Magnetic Sponsoring system. The system was promising to generate leads and getting paid to do so. It was interesting, to say the least. The system advertised how to attract new leads to my business for free and not just that, to generate endless leads and instant cash for my business. I thought this will help with advertising cost, if it works. To be honest, I thought to myself, what is this young guy has to offer that I already do not know? But I thought, what the heck, what I’ve got to loose. It’s free for 7 days…I will be done reading it in two hours…I downloaded the book and I had an instant access to it… Shhh, I think is still free for…. and…whoa… I was looking ahead while reading but not because the book was boring or uninteresting and I wanted it to be finishes with it; but because I didn’t want it to be over. What a great content with no fluff and right to the point. I felt like Mike Dillard had written the book for me. He talked about attraction marketing and how to get paid to prospect so I can keep advertising to grow my business. It all made a perfect sense. Anyway, so I read the book and re-read it. I’ve got the access to the system, I followed a set of simple instructions and…Boom! I had three leads the same night! I thought, ‘You better be kidding me! What do I do now?’ Seriously, I have not sponsored a soul yet, I have customers and all but no organization… ‘This is actually working!’ Does any of my story sound familiar to you! Are you ready to become successful and start generating leads and actually get paid to do so? Are you ready to attract new leads to your business for free? Are you ready to generate endless leads and instant cash for your business? Are you ready to change your whole prospective, your whole world and any believes you might have had about MLM? Are you ready to work hard for what you want? So… how do you generate endless leads and become the hunted instead of the hunter? If you are struggling out there, please, please pick up your 7 day video series. Did I say it’s free! These videos have really changed the way I do my business, and I think they can help you too.

Mis Selling Throughout The Years

Perhaps along with pensions the most widely recognised of mis-selling issues. Once again Lloyds TSB was fined a record £1million in December 2002 by the FSA with the bank setting aside £165 million to compensate between 42,000 and 46,000 policy holders (averaging £4000 per policyholder). The mis-sold endowment mortgages occurred between 1995 and 1999. As well as the Abbey Life arm of Lloyds TSB also involved were other providers identified by the FSA such as Royal London Group, Royal Scottish Assurance (part of RBS), Scottish Amicable, Royal and Sun Alliance and Winterhur. An estimated 430,000 homebuyers were in receipt of a total of £1bn in compensation. In June 2005, the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) revealed it was receiving 1,300 endowment mis-selling claims a week. Widespread unsuitable recommendations of mortgage endowments were made to unsuspecting consumers, again this advice being driven by large commissions. PPI (Payment Protection Insurance):In 2004 it was revealed that margins on PPI made by Barclays Bank was a profit of £240m on a turnover of £350m from such policies. Across the loans industry it was estimated that lenders made £5bn a year. It was also estimated that around 2 million people may hold policies which they are not able to claim on. PPI policies bought from lenders at point of sale can cost up to £28 for every £100 covered, however standalone policies cost less than £3 per £100. Amongst those firms fined were Alliance and Leicester (£7million), Liverpool Victoria (£840,000) and Egg (£721,000) being the 20th company to be fined by the FSA. The Competition Commission has now banned PPI from being sold alongside credit cards and personal loans. PPI sales were driven by large commissions estimated at around 65% of the total premium. MORTGAGE MISSELLING:The most recent case of mis-selling concerns a precedent involving mortgage mis-selling. The issue concerned a housing association tenant, who had suffered the Trauma of repossession. A valuable promise of a rent fixed for life was in place. However, a mortgage adviser persuaded him to buy the property and failed to consider the consequences when the discounted mortgage rate ended. albeit recent, could well be the tip of a very large iceberg. The associated facets of regulated mortgages will no doubt prompt a flurry of activity within self certification and the more vulnerable borrowers. Council right to buy tenants have always been heavily canvassed. The Mortgage Code of Business along with The Financial Services act is there to protect consumers. CREDIT CARD CHARGES:In 2006 The Office of Fair Trading advised that credit card default charges were unfair and that these charges had generally been set at a significantly higher level than is legally fair. These charges had netted in excess of £300 million a year. Where credit card default charges are set at more than £12, the OFT will presume that they are unfair. A default charge is not fair simply because it is below £12. A default charge should only be used to recover certain limited administrative costs. Card issuers were required to confirm their response to the OFT statement by 31 May 2006 in response to fair and appropriate charge. A fair default charge should not exceed a reasonable estimate of certain limited administrative costs which the credit card issuer reasonably expects to incur as a result of default. BANK CHARGES:In February 2009 banks had been urged by consumer groups to “throw in the towel”, after losing an appeal over unauthorised overdraft charges.Seven high street banks and one building society (Abbey, Barclays, Clydesdale, HBOS, HSBC, Lloyds TSB, RBS and Nationwide) were engaged in the test case, led by the Office of Fair Trading, to assess whether overdraft and unpaid item charges, which can can be as much as £38, are excessive. Banks had already paid out £560m to thousands of customers who claimed they had been subjected to “unfair” charges. Charges represent £2.5 billion each year to the banks. assessed for fairness. MORTGAGE EXIT FEES:The Financial Services Authority (FSA) concluded in June 2006 that some lenders might have increased their mortgage exit fees unjustifiably. It then launched an investigation into the increases of exit fees and whether they complied with the Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts Regulations 1999 (UTCC). Mortgage exit administration fees remained static for many years. Then, in 2004 prompted largely by one lender, Alliance & Leicester, they started to rise dramatically to around £300. The true cost of closing a mortgage is estimated to be £35. PENSIONS:Began in the 1980's but emerged around 1994 when it emerged that many consumers, acting on flawed advice from salesmen motivated by huge commissions, had swapped their occupational schemes for private policies leaving them worse off. The FSA admitted that £11billion seemed inadequate and after 15 years to put right the cost was nearer £15billion, the final cost being compounded by interest rates and inflation along with revised life expectancy. Lloyds TSB alone set aside over £800 million for compensation for around 100,000 people. The FSA spent £10million on an advertising campaign in an attempt to draw the issue to a close throughout early 1999 and reinforcing direct mailings from firms to their customers. HIGH RISK BONDS:Otherwise known as 'Precipice' Bonds or 'high income' bonds which originally surfaced around 2000. Lloyds TSB again faced a substantial compensation bill of £98 million, 44% of the policies sold being unsuitable for those individuals. The FSA also fined Lloyds TSB £1.9 million in 2003. The product was designed by the Scottish Widows Group who were acquired by Lloyds TSB in March 2000. In total, 51,00 policies were sold. In 2004 the FSA also fined Capita Trust (formerly Royal & Sun Alliance Trust Company Ltd) £300,000 and compenasation to customers was put at around £3.5million. The marketing of precipice bonds potentially placed a significant number of customers at risk of loss. Higher risk complex products should be promoted with care. Reasonable steps to ensure consumers understood the nature of the risks involved in precipice bonds were not taken.

Forex Auto Pilot, Been Around 9 Years, 93% Successful Trades

Forex Auto Pilot is an old, and well established work-horse. 93). It is the cheapest I've seen so far. Downside is that when it makes a loss, it is a big loss. I've seen it make 20 $20 profits in a row, then make 1 $200 loss. I'm not saying "no" to it - I'm probably only saying maybe - or "definitely yes" if you also buy Fap Winner so that they can advise you on the best settings to run it with. $97 - 60 days money back guarantee. Forex Auto Pilot was a sophisticated automated Forex trading robot in its day. Now the vendor pushes more his Fap Turbo product - at double the money. Forex Auto Pilot has been around a long time - 9 years. And it has the largest user base of 37,000 installs. It runs on the Meta Trader 4 platform. Fully automated as the name implies, the robot makes it ideal for people looking to profit without spending hundreds of hours at their computers learning Forex. Forex Auto Pilot, like all Expert Advisors is a custom set of trading rules to be executed when it sees certain trading conditions are met. If it does not recognise market conditions it likes, it does nothing. So you install MetaTrader4 (free), and copy the Forex Auto Pilot file to the experts folder in MetaTrader4 (MT4), click a few buttons and you are up and running. That's the beauty of the MT4 metatrader platform. You can have multiple Forex Robots, each working a different chart - each chart working a different currency pair. A copy of Meta Trader 4 is included with Forex Auto Pilot, and the first thing metatrader does on start-up is check if it is the latest version. With Forex Auto Pilot everything comes set at "default" and you are recommended to leave them that way until you have tested it on a demo account/s with your broker or brokers of choice. Leaving it to run while you read the user guide and other forex materials is interesting and fun. Here are some details worth keeping in mind as you consider Forex Auto Pilot. The user's guide is 74 pages and is well written. It steps you through the installation and activation of the software quite nicely. Also on how to back test it against historical data. Back testing does confirm similar results as those claimed on the sales page. But back testing is not everything - nothing like live testing to know for sure, which is why demo accounts exist. After purchase you'll also receive an ebook to understand the mechanics of the Forex market. This book is a general guide to Forex and can be used with any forex system. The retail price of $97 USD is probably fair - it is old, and there are better Forex robots around. When I say it is old, it works on the most up-to-date trading platform - MT4. And trading strategies are timeless. However, algorithms developed by people over time do improve. New strategies do get developed. Universally true for all reviews on this website - all Forex robots come with an 8 weeks unconditional 100 of profitable trades is incredibly high - though not as high as others. And it does incur some pretty large open trade draw downs (DD) to achieve this. What this means is that while it may have closed the trade at a profit, during the life of the trade maybe the market went against it and the trade was in the red (loss) for sometime before returning to close at its profit. However, historical tests would indicate that over the long haul the many small wins will out pace the few large loses provided you're willing to ride out the losing trades. Although Forex Auto Pilot does place 'take profit' orders at 20 pips to ensure it captures some profit when it occurs, it does not use protective stops to protect your down side. The documentation strongly recommends AGAINST adjusting the stop and take profit levels. I find this to be of concern - but when tried, it does indeed degrade performance. Regarding position size, the default is to use a fixed position size rather than a fixed percentage position size. This is not the best way to do it as it not only increases your risk per trade after each losing trade, but it also slows account growth after wining trades. It is much better to have it set as a percentage of your available account size. Then as your balance grow, profits grow too by being compounded. A fixed percentage of your account will adjust the position size up and down as the account grows or shrinks and is generally a better idea. And you can set Forex Auto Pilot to use a fixed percentage but this is not the default.

Forex Trading Made E Z: Essential Video Training on Profitable Forex Trading

This product is not a forex robot or an expert advisor. So you are not buying a software program that will help you trade forex or an automatic program that makes the trades for you. Instead, what you are buying with Forex Trading Made E Z is excellent training material on Forex, and what works very well indeed with manual trading. I am very hard to impress - perhaps a I was born a skeptic. But this "old timer's" training course gets my vote! George was a pilot forced to retire at age 60. But he had been a forex trader as a personal interest most of his life, and he had developed an insight into how to trade successfully. As he says, he has no magic bullet. What he teaches are the simple rules, tactics and disciplines that have been successful for him time and time again. To me, it is not just what he teaches, it is how he teaches it. His sales page is not the normal hard sell I have seen for every forex robot so far - all of which make my skin crawl even if their product is solid. With Forex Trading Made E Z, on the pre-sales page you get to watch 3 videos 5-6 minutes long which are all made in the last 30 days, all showing George making trades. You can hear in his voice that he is about 65-70 years old, and that he loves what he does. But he doesn't sound excited by it, he has a wonderful sense of calm about him. I strongly recommend that you visit his sales page, watch those 3 videos and register your email address. After you confirm the link he first sends you, you get to download the first 5 chapters (32 pages) of his Forex Trading Made E Z PDF ebook. All of this costs you nothing. But it sure does give you confidence that you are getting what he says you will get. And from the downloaded first 5 chapters, you can see from the index what the main subjects are. Personally I love video as a teaching tool. There is only so much that my mind absorbs while reading. With video, my eyes are seeing what is described, and my ears are soaking up the message too. The combination of audio-video with the ebook is the perfect combination to learn from. The first thing Forex Trading Made E Z is that to double your money, you need 15 trading days at 5 compound growth per day. And that if you start with $500, you can be earning $500 every day within 3 months - using the same principles and systems. All steady as you go stuff - with no greed and no suffering. So, start with $500, follow lessons and disciplines, and within 3 months you too can and will be making $500 a day. The focus of Forex Trading Made E Z is all on the training, and the discipline required. The vendor (George Smith) only trades on EURUSD, though he points out that his methods work on any currency pair. But why make it complicated? Forex Trading Made E Z begins with broker selection, and he recommends OandA. I just opened a demo account with them no problems at all, and I noticed that all trades big or small are at 0.9 pip spreads. WOW, that information alone is worthwhile as I had never heard of this broker before now. No emphasis is placed on economic knowledge at all. In fact Forex Trading Made E Z's George Smith claims ignorance has been his best friend, and that he knows very little about all "the stuff" of what goes on behind the scenes. He just knows how to trade the numbers. Many traders "trade the news", referring to news events which can have a big impact on currency swings. George does not - and claims what's the point if you don't have a crystal ball. In fact he strongly advises to not be trading during the usual news-release times. As such, he points out that you don't want any open positions at either 8.30am nor 10am Eastern Standard Time as that is when most news announcements are made. Forex Trading Made E Z makes it clear that after the fireworks of those times has died down, then go back to work and trade. Next on the agenda is money management, as George says, the most important part of Forex trading. To recap his words; * never risk more than 2% on any one trade. * quit for the day if we’ve made five percent on our money. * quit for the day if we’ve lost ten percent. * quit at 3:00 PM Eastern no matter where we are simply, because the markets slow down around that time. Then he gets into it. I do strongly recommend using the broker OandA with a demo account at least when you work through all of the training. Yes they have a great spread of 0.9 pips, so long run after you are trading live, you may wish to use this broker. But my point for now is that Forex Trading Made E Z contains many pictures and videos all using the OandA platform. So to make your learning easier it is best to study and practise with this platform - which as I said is great anyway. When you combine the decades of wisdom of George, and his no nonsense rules and disciplines, you truly will enjoy forex trading. And you truly will make money. At the very least, you should watch his free videos on his sales page and register free for his first 5 chapters - you'll be so glad you did. I learned a lot just from that. Click here to get them.

How To Buy Real Estate with No Money Down

Buying real estate can be challenging in this market. Actually it can be challenging in any market. What if I could show you how you could buy a property without any money out of your pocket and without having to qualify for a bank loan? Do I have your attention? I will show you how you can buy property with no money down and not even a look at your FICO score. Is it easy? The end product is easy but the prep is a must. Lets be clear up front, a “No Money Down” deal does require money just not your money. Here are the steps you will need to do and follow in order to close a del with no money down. Preparation and homework are keys to buying a house with “No Money Down”. 1. Marketing: You must do marketing. Identify the type of property you want to buy. Research that type of property and where it exists and then you will need the names of the owners in that area. Do these sellers want to sell? You don’t know until you contact them. That is what your marketing is going to reveal. Your marketing should take the form of direct mail. It is the most effective and direct form of marketing you can do. You must research sellers in a particular neighborhood and mail postcards to them asking if they want to sell their property. The chance of you sending a postcard to them at the right moment the seller wants to sell is pretty small. That is why 1) you send many postcards (500 to 1500) and 2) you must send multiple times. You are in this for the long term so establish a marketing budget and monitor the results of each mailing. You should be willing to send postcards for at least 6 months to test your campaign. 2. Calls: After your marketing mailings have gone out, you will get sellers calling you. Most will be people who will wonder what you will offer. They are not serious. You need to identify these types of sellers or non-sellers immediately. Do not waste your time. A small percentage will be serious about selling their home; collect information about their property so you can start to put together an offer for them. The point of the call is to gather information and make an appointment. The appointment is made but is not confirmed. Confirmation requires research. 3. Research: This is a critical aspect of the real estate business. You are trying to establish the worth of a property that you will buy from past data. You need to establish the estimated repairs, carrying costs, resell costs and how you will sell the property. Research will give you these answers. It becomes a little easier after you have done it a few times. But having people on your Power Team will make the job easier. A Power Team is a group of individuals that work in the real estate industry and can support you. A realtor is a critical person. You can get information on sales, pending and listings in a particular area; a title company can confirm ownership of the property and a contractor can help with estimate of repairs. All this research will help you establish After Repair Value and an exit strategy. This will confirm if you go to the appointment or not. 4. Appointment: The appointment starts the buying process. You build rapport with the seller, review the condition of the property and present your offers for the property. This is the preliminary work that is done to present a “No Money Down” offer. You are looking for a motivated seller (they must sell and quickly at a discount) or a seller with a property that is free and clear, they owe nothing on their property. I know that may be a foreign concept to you but they do exist. I have given you the outline of how to buy a property and it is the same in all cases. A no-money down deal is no different. You just have to be ready. Here is how we did it. We had sent postcards to a particular group of homeowners – months ago. One of those sellers called us and told us that their tenant moved out of a house they owned and they did not want to be landlords any more. That is a great group of sellers – Absentee Owners that are tired of be landlord. We researched the property and found out that the seller owned the property free and clear. They had no loans on the property. This type of property gives us the most flexibility. Also the seller is use to receiving monthly income in the form rent and tenant problems and complaints. We structure our deals so the seller would continue to receive the payments but not the problems. We eliminate that problem. Here are the offers we made to the seller, always make multiple offers. Offer #1) Purchase price: $130,000 with no money down and $500 principle only payment per month for 15 years; Offer #2) Purchase price $75,000 cash; Offer #3) Purchase price: $121,000 with $10,000 down and $275 per month principle only payments. The property was worth $130,000. Giving the seller full asking price and monthly payments was very appealing to them. Since the payments are principle only we are paying the principle down each month and lowers our risk on the deal. We pay $6,000 on the principle each year. This allows us to offer the property to a buyer for only a small mark-up and still make a good profit on the deal while maintaining cash flow. The seller took offer #1 and we put a small private money loan in the first position on the property to pull money out of the deal to pay closing costs, holding costs and repair costs. “No Money Down” deals are out there. You find them by marketing to sellers with high equity and asking for the deals. We get a large percentage of NOs on these deals. We know that and are prepared for that. That is why you must have a follow-up campaign because sellers change their minds and what is a NO today may be a YES in the future.

Four Keys to Offshoring Business Analysis

What’s the secret to reducing cost and accelerating the delivery of offshore software development? Move business analysis offshore, too! That's right. There’s now a growing body of evidence that doing so will reduce the costs of developing requirements while still maintaining high quality (Powell, Piccoli, & Ives, Winter 2004), (Nath, Sridhar, Adya, & Malik, October-December 2008). At Coherent Solutions, our experience indicates that companies will achieve greater efficiency from their programming staff by co-locating business analysts with their offshore programming team. In fact, we’ve established four rules that will get you there quickly, based on our success with hundreds of offshore development projects: 1) wait until your offshore team has gained a critical degree of knowledge; 2) assign a local liaison to construct high-level analysis with face-to-face needs; 3) move the requirements details offshore; and 4) perform early and frequent reviews and approvals with your internal customers. First, wait until your offshore team has a critical body of knowledge. There is a considerable amount to learn at your location. If the offshore team is to provide the same kind of quality as a local team, they need time and experience to acquire the institutional memory gained by your local team over years of experience with working with you and your customers. You may accelerate this transition by bringing the offshore team to your site at the beginning of the project. But, even afterward, there will be a lot for them to learn. So don’t start the transition too soon. Second, assign a local analysis liaison. Industry experts agree—and our experience bears it out—that a local liaison is a key contributor to success (Robert D. Battin & K. Subramanian, March/April 2001). With offshore business analysis, the liaison’s role is to communicate at your site in situations where it is difficult for the offshore team to do so. Examples include tracking down a subject matter expert that is always in a meeting, finding the answer to a question that may require a certain amount of back-and-forth discussion, or even something as simple as talking to a customer when the time zones don't quite match up with the offshore team. Most software projects these days are completed in multiple iterations. This means that even if the offshore team travels at the beginning of the project, there will be a lot of requirements that are left for later iterations. It's not cost-effective or efficient for the offshore team to travel at the beginning of each iteration. But the local liaison can add value to their role by performing high-level business and requirements analysis and documentation during those iterations. If you’re concerned that assigning a high-cost local person to the project adds overhead, keep in mind that it only needs to be a part-time assignment, especially if the project is small. For larger teams, our experience shows that there is plenty of work to be distributed among both offshore and local team members, and a high ratio of offshore to local team members provides an attractive cost structure. Third, send the details offshore. Because of rule No. 1, the team should now have experience with the domain. Local team members no longer have to develop every little detail. In fact, the person best equipped to dig into the details may now be one of your offshore programmers. By performing some of the business analysis offshore, you also give your offshore analyst easy access to this person. There are many other analysis activities that work well offshore because they require little face-to-face customer time, including reviewing the legacy set of requirements documentation, constructing permutations and combinations of scenarios, and asking the programmers to find details in the code. Our experience with several clients over the last year has been that offshore business analysts excel in producing details from these activities. But we still have to make sure that we are producing the desired requirements. There is no one way to do this, of course, but we recommend rule No. 4. Fourth, perform frequent reviews of requirements with your internal customers. Today's agile methods work great for this (Schwaber, 2004). Each of them espouses frequent review of artifacts and software deliverables by customers. If you see the results of analysis early and often, you’ll not only be well-informed about the project, you’ll be able to help steer the analysis in the right direction. So, with an experienced offshore team performing detailed business analysis fed to them by a local liaison, and with the results reviewed early and often by the internal customer, you can lower your costs, reduce your risks, and deliver high-quality software projects that deliver on their promises.

The Overlooked Secret of Networking Success

When the word networking is mentioned, most people I know think about salespeople or business owners exchanging business cards any chance they can. Of course networking can be the card exchange. It`s also "doing lunch" and attending events and many other equally valid and important things, but even so, most of what is written and thought about networking focuses on external networking. External networking is important. And, for a leader in a company of any size, I would suggest that the most important networking opportunity you have is the one all around you - networking with those within the company; networking internally. Since this type of networking isn`t talked or written about much; it is rarely thought about. And yet, for all of the relationships, learning and opportunities external networking can bring, the same can be true when you focus on building your network inside your company as well. Here are eight ways you can creatively and effectively network within the boundaries of your own organization. Invest one lunch a week. One great way to build relationships is over food. And since everyone has to eat, you can likely get on people`s calendars relatively easily. Why not invite someone from another department or someone you don`t know well to lunch? Make the lunch about getting to know them, which means you want to do less talking and more listening. Seek out internal mentors for yourself and your team. If you are in a relatively large organization, there are probably people that you have heard of or have watched from a distance in admiration. Why not approach them to be a mentor to you and/or members of your team? Be a silo buster. If your organization operates in a fragmented, highly departmentalized, siloed way, decide to be the silo buster. All these ideas can help you do this, but the point here is to make a conscious decision to network with the purpose of building relationships that will begin to break down these barriers. Create "lunch and learns". Invite people from other departments with expertise your team or department doesn`t have to come and share that information over lunch. This creates new learning opportunities for both sides and gives people a chance to get to know new people at the same time. Establish more cross functional brainstorming. Have a big problem or challenge? Starting a new project? Looking for new business opportunities or product ideas? Bring together a cross functional, eclectic group of people from around the company to share their ideas and perspectives in identifying ideas. When you do this you will get more (and likely better) ideas; you will build new relationships (especially if you design the session knowing that`s one of your goals); and - perhaps most importantly - you will create greater commitment across the organization for the ideas you do implement because more people were involved in the process. Start a league. It could be bridge, basketball, golf, croquet or any of a hundred other things. Find something of common interest to a broad number of people and get them playing after work or at lunch. When you`re playing you are getting to know people for more than just their position or knowledge, you are really "getting to know" them. This one may take more time to form and maintain, but the networking value is tremendous. Share the love. Don`t just focus on building `your` network; make sure to connect others. As you get to know more people in deeper ways, you will find out their needs and goals. With those valuable insights, you can connect them to others inside the company who share similar interests and can help them achieve their goals. When you become the connector, you become more valued and valuable. Create internal networking events. The Chamber of Commerce and other organizations everywhere have been doing this for years. Why can`t you create an internal event with the specific goal of getting people to know each other better? Many of the other ideas on this list may be the platform or the "excuse" for such an event - but you can come up with many more that will work within your organization now that you are thinking about it! All of these ideas may not apply to your situation, but some of them will. For every idea I`ve shared I would guess you can think of five more. In the end, the most important key to internal networking is to just start doing it! As you build your internal network you will create benefits and opportunities for you, those you`re networking with, and for your team and colleagues. When you look at it this way you hopefully realize what a valuable investment time spent on building a larger and broader set of relationships inside of your company can be. Potential Pointer: The most overlooked opportunity to network is not out in the world, but right inside your organization. As a leader, or aspiring leader, when you mine the network and relationships within your company you help both yourself and your team create greater success!
